Executive coaching

Executive coaching enables leaders and  senior directors /managers to take a step back, reflect on their own and team performance, gain important insights, focus on priorities and have the support to set, plan and implement goals.

Executive coaching supports personal growth and development, providing impartial feedback, challenge and skill development for people who often feel they don’t have someone they can discuss these important things with. Executive coaching provides a confidential, non-judgemental environment, with someone who understands where you are at and what the job demands.​

With business growth coaching you set the goals you want to focus on and over what period.

Leadership & management development training & coaching

The majority of leaders and managers I work with are highly skilled professionals within their own fields – their backgrounds may vary - scientists, sales directors, architects, engineers, lawyers, consultants, designers etc – but one thing many of them have in common is that no one taught them how to manage.  As managers they will also face increased demand to work on a greater number of areas – such as business and account development, improving processes, strategic planning,  communicating in public.

They want up to date, relevant and easy to apply skills, knowledge and support to relieve the frustration and stress that managing people can bring. They want to know if what they are doing is the best way to achieve their goals and learn some of the many tips and techniques that help them to empower their people and encourage greater accountability and results.

I will design a custom programme that can include individual and group training and coaching workshops. You can access individual courses – such as ‘presenting with confidence’ – or a flexible programme covering topics such as managing people, marketing and sales, communicating and influencing, coaching as a manager and advanced management tools such as Neurolinguistic Programming.

Tools and techniques

I have a vast amount of experience and tools that I draw on (see also 'About Martin' section). Most of my tools are experienced in everyday coaching and training sessions (and includes hundreds of models, graphics, visualisation, activities etc that help leaning come to life and tangible).

​I only use more formal profiling tools very selectively - as I want them to support (and not restrict) people's development and confidence. Every tool I use I test on myself and use extensively in real-world situations. (Being 'theoretical' is not my interest!).
  • ​Strengthscope psychometric profiles - for individuals and teams, leadership profiles, team engagement, 360 feedback.
  • ​Belbin Team Roles - individual, 360, team and job role profiles.
  • ​I also use a range of other tools, according to need, which may include Emotional Intelligence, Psychological Type Indicators (MBTI style profile) and Communication feedback.
